Attorney Estes recently obtained a default judgment victory for our federal employee client formerly employed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection. The Agency failed to conduct a timely investigation and after Attorney Estes filed a Motion for Sanctions on behalf of our client, the EEOC Administrative Judge sanctioned the Agency with default judgment. Attorney Estes then successfully proved the client's damages resulting in an award of damages from the EEOC that included more than $130,000 in back pay, more than $100,000 in compensatory damages and recovery of attorney fees.
